SaaS Development Outsourcing Without the Usual Risk

Outsourcing SaaS development works when the team you hand it to has already shipped multi-tenant products before. STACKSKI is a SaaS development outsourcing company built around that one requirement. Whether it's outsource SaaS product development for a brand-new idea or SaaS application development outsourcing for a system already in production, the same team stays on it from the first sprint to the last.

That same team works nearshore SaaS development style, inside your daytime hours and communication tools, or fully offshore development for SaaS companies that need the work done and delivered without daily oversight. Either way, custom SaaS development services outsourcing means a written scope before a single sprint starts, not a vague monthly retainer.

How We Work

A transparent, predictable process from first contact to ongoing support

Roadmap

01 – Discovery

We start by listening. Please call us, send an email, or book a video call. We’d like to hear about the project you want to build or the problem you would like to solve, what you’ve tried so far, and any deadlines or budget constraints. If we need to look at your existing project before recommending a direction, we’ll discuss that next step with you.

  • Initial call to discuss your goals and constraints
  • Review of existing systems or requirements

02 – NDA

An NDA is a document designed to protect your ideas, business plans, and any other sensitive information you can’t discuss with everyone.

While the NDA is listed as the second step in this workflow, it can be signed at any point, even before the discovery call. It doesn’t cost you anything, so please feel free to ask for it whenever necessary.

03 – Proposal

After evaluating your requirements, we send you a proposal. Normally, that’s a Master Service Agreement (MSA) plus a Scope of Work (SoW).

The MSA sets out the general terms of how we work together. Each Statement of Work (SoW) then defines the scope, responsibilities, timeline, and pricing for a specific engagement.

The SoW is where we define the project, timeline, budget, acceptance criteria, and everything else not covered by the MSA.

If you decide to give us more work (and why not, we’re quite good at IT), we don’t sign another MSA. We simply sign a new SoW under the same MSA.

04 – Engagement

Once agreed, we get to work.

The SoW sets out what we’ll deliver, the timeline, and our responsibilities. We’ll keep you updated as the work progresses and discuss any issues that could affect delivery.

05 – Delivery

We deliver the work defined in the Statement of Work (SoW) and review it with you against the agreed acceptance criteria. Depending on the engagement, this may include deploying software, handing over code and documentation, or presenting findings and recommendations.

Software Development projects: full code ownership, no licensing or royalties. 30 days of code warranty included.

06 – Support

Support is optional and mainly applies to software development projects rather than advisory engagements.

If you need help after launch or ongoing software maintenance, we can discuss retainer options. You decide whether you’d like us to stay involved after delivery.

  • Ongoing maintenance and bug fixes as needed
  • Flexible support agreements, no long-term lock-in
  • Direct line back to the team that built it
