Cloud & DevOps

Quality infrastructure is the foundation of stable software. We design and manage cloud systems that are secure, cost-effective, and maintainable. Using infrastructure as code and automated deployments, we ensure your systems are repeatable and consistent. We work with AWS, Google Cloud, and other major providers to build resilient architectures. Our focus is on clear monitoring, efficient operations, and systems that perform predictably as your application grows.

How We Build Infrastructure

Infrastructure as Code

Version control for servers. Includes:

  • Servers, networks, and databases defined in code;
  • Identical staging and production environments;
  • Infrastructure changes reviewed and tested before they go live.

What you receive: infrastructure you can rebuild, audit, and change with confidence.

Deployment Pipeline

No manual deploy step. Includes:

  • Code review before merge;
  • Automated tests on every change;
  • Automatic deployments with rollback.

What you receive: faster, safer releases that don't depend on one person.

Monitoring

Know about problems before customers do. Includes:

  • Uptime, performance, and error tracking;
  • Alerts that matter, not noise;
  • Dashboards for key metrics.

What you receive: a clear view of what's running and how it performs.

Security

Secure by default, not as an afterthought. Includes:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest;
  • Automatic secret rotation;
  • Access control and a complete audit trail.

What you receive: infrastructure built with security best practices.

Cost Control

Right-sized servers, not oversized. Includes:

  • Right-sizing servers and services;
  • Reserved capacity where it pays off;
  • Regular cost reviews.

What you receive: predictable cloud bills without paying for capacity you don't use.

Disaster Recovery

A plan in place before things break. Includes:

  • Tested, automated backups;
  • Multi-region failover where needed;
  • A documented recovery plan.

What you receive: a clear, tested way back when something goes wrong.

How We Work

A transparent, predictable process from first contact to ongoing support

Roadmap

01 – Discovery

We start by listening. Please call us, send an email, or book a video call. We’d like to hear about the project you want to build or the problem you would like to solve, what you’ve tried so far, and any deadlines or budget constraints. If we need to look at your existing project before recommending a direction, we’ll discuss that next step with you.

  • Initial call to discuss your goals and constraints
  • Review of existing systems or requirements

02 – NDA

An NDA is a document designed to protect your ideas, business plans, and any other sensitive information you can’t discuss with everyone.

While the NDA is listed as the second step in this workflow, it can be signed at any point, even before the discovery call. It doesn’t cost you anything, so please feel free to ask for it whenever necessary.

03 – Proposal

After evaluating your requirements, we send you a proposal. Normally, that’s a Master Service Agreement (MSA) plus a Scope of Work (SoW).

The MSA sets out the general terms of how we work together. Each Statement of Work (SoW) then defines the scope, responsibilities, timeline, and pricing for a specific engagement.

The SoW is where we define the project, timeline, budget, acceptance criteria, and everything else not covered by the MSA.

If you decide to give us more work (and why not, we’re quite good at IT), we don’t sign another MSA. We simply sign a new SoW under the same MSA.

04 – Engagement

Once agreed, we get to work.

The SoW sets out what we’ll deliver, the timeline, and our responsibilities. We’ll keep you updated as the work progresses and discuss any issues that could affect delivery.

05 – Delivery

We deliver the work defined in the Statement of Work (SoW) and review it with you against the agreed acceptance criteria. Depending on the engagement, this may include deploying software, handing over code and documentation, or presenting findings and recommendations.

Software Development projects: full code ownership, no licensing or royalties. 30 days of code warranty included.

06 – Support

Support is optional and mainly applies to software development projects rather than advisory engagements.

If you need help after launch or ongoing software maintenance, we can discuss retainer options. You decide whether you’d like us to stay involved after delivery.

  • Ongoing maintenance and bug fixes as needed
  • Flexible support agreements, no long-term lock-in
  • Direct line back to the team that built it
